In November of 2012, Chessie and CJ met and began dating. For 2.5 years, they were inseparable, however, in May of 2015, their relationship sadly ended.

In the summer of 2023, after eight years apart, they found themselves drawn back together. Their conversations flowed effortlessly, rekindling their connection.

One evening in December 2023, CJ drove from Anaheim to Oceanside to meet Chessie for dinner. The night was filled with heartfelt conversations and laughter, reigniting CJ's conviction that Chessie was the one that got away.

It wasn't until January 2024, during Chessie's visit to Phoenix, that CJ confessed his love for her. In February, Chessie finally let down her guard and let love in. CJ immediately moved to California, eager to build a future together.

In March 2024, CJ proposed to Chessie at Moonlight Beach in Encinitas, and she said yes!

Their journey, separated by eight years of individual growth, led them back to each other. With renewed love and commitment, they look forward to sharing their special day with loved ones, ready to embrace the future together.
